Single customer view
Also called: SCV, golden record, unified profile
A single customer view is one profile per person that brings together identity, consent, transactions and behaviour from every system that touches the customer. It is what lets a team hold back an offer from someone who bought the same item in a shop yesterday. Rather than trying to build the complete version first, build the fields that change a decision: last order date, consent state, preferred store. A view nobody can use in campaigns is a reporting asset, not a customer view.
