Preference centre
Also called: subscription centre, email preferences
A preference centre is the page where subscribers choose what they hear about, how often, and on which channels, instead of only choosing between everything and nothing. Offering a pause or a lower cadence recovers a meaningful share of people who click unsubscribe because of volume rather than disinterest. Keep the full unsubscribe visible and honour it immediately; burying it invites spam complaints. Preferences are only worth collecting if the sending platform actually enforces them.
